If somebody ever tries to rob you and then kill you, you should tell him that you would like to die. He will suddenly be so confounded by the lack of challenge and power that the only way he can win is to let you live. He may even try to give you a new lease on life. If he tries to recommend a good therapist to you, you should thank him, but you should probably not ever call the therapist that the sociopath deems to be good.

If somebody that you love ever tries to tell you that they don't want to love anything, you should tell them that you would like to be abhorred. They will suddenly be so confounded by the lack of something to emotionally flail against that the only way they can win is to love you without reciprocation. They may even try to give you a new lease on life. If they try to recommend a good future outcome you should thank them, but you should probably not ever actually follow through with a future outcome determined by a person who has the emotional intelligence of a toddler.

If you have done things the proper way you should end the relationship in real, gut-rotting disgust, which will, in actuality leave you abhorred. Of course, even if you call the therapist from the robbery you'll still end up dead.
